Opening Weekend: METAMORPHOSIS. Heinz Hajek-Hake’s Photomontages & The New Image-Makers

On Friday, 28th of Feburary we had the pleasure of finally opening the exhibition METAMORPHOSIS: Heinz Hajek-Hake’s Photomontages & The New Image-Makers!

The team of CHAUSSEE 36 Photography was so happy to welcome all of our numerous guest to the opening. This event wouldn’t have been possible without our partner European Month of Photography Berlin, the amazing artists Matthieu Bourel, Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf, Mayumi Hosokura, Noé Sendas, Eva Stenram, Miriam Tölke and K YOUNG.

Later that weekend, on Sunday, out visitors had a chance to catch an Artist Talk with Matthieu Bourel, Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf, Noé Sendas and Eva Stenram. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Simone Klein for her insightful and thoughtful moderation and to our wonderful audience for joining us in such large numbers so early on Sunday!

“METAMORPHOSIS: Heinz Hajek Halke’s Photomontages & The New Image Makers” is on view until May 3rd. We are happy to welcome you in our space on Chausseestraße 36, 10116 Berlin Mitte during our regular opening hours, Wed – Sat, 1 – 6 pm.

“METAMORPHOSIS” was curated by Mathilde Leroy in cooperation with Brandei Estes. The exhibition was organised in the framework of EMOP Berlin - the European Month of Photography.
